    THE MAINLAND FINANCE "RAIN DANCE"

If anyone has seen Kookaburra's Laughing or Black Cockatoo's flying in groups of 3, please let us know? This would have to be more reliable than the chocolate wheel currently used by the Dept. of Meteorology!

But we did over hear 2 ants talking, one ant said to the other ant, "I think it's gonna rain", the other ant asked, "How do you know that", because "All the humans are looking at us".

So if you think you can dance, dust off them gumboots!

Wagga Wagga Floods

There continues to be major flooding in the city of Wagga Wagga and the water level is likely to surpass previous records.  In a follow up from our previous story regarding Wollundry Lagoon in central Wagga Wagga, the benefits of the project to remove silt from the lagoon to allow for storm water to flow in and out is now apparent.  Pictured is an image of the lagoon full of water after the recent flooding rain.
