Bottled at the source
Big Springs Station is located in the picturesque Big Springs Valley some 30 kms south east of the Riverina’s major city,Wagga Wagga. Set in the foothills of the Flakeney Ranges, the waters of Big Springs are absorbed by the granite soils and run through aquiferous underground ducts that are naturally filtered through the sand and gravels. Since European settlement the springs, which rise naturally to the surface, have been used as an unfailing supply to the Big Springs Station. The property has been in the possession of the Wilson family for over 140 years.
In 1994 a bottling facility was established by the Wilson family at the source. With solid family and local support, Big Springs Riverina has met strong demand and has experienced high levels of growth and a reputation for a quality product and efficient service.
A growing concern
In 2004 the continuing strong demand and growth enabled a purpose built facility to be erected in Wagga Wagga. The business now employs 20 people and services over 6000 clients each fortnight, located throughout Southern NSW and north east Victoria.
Certification from Australasian Bottled Water Institute and HACCP Accreditation for the source, the process and all the operational procedures has assured a quality product that meets the highest standards at all times.
Proud to part of the local community
Today, still operating as a family concern, Big Springs Riverina is a small effective team who really care about their clients. Although well established they maintain flexibility to ensure they meet all client demands and requirements.
Big Springs Riverina are proud recipients of business and community awards for outstanding business and participation with local communities. They are proud to be part of the recognised food bowl of Australia, the Riverina.
It is their determination to continue their growth and prosperity through dedication to their clients, their product and to all aspects of their business.
